Priority Registration

After applying for admission, new or returning students receive two emails. The second email from AHC includes your myHancock login information. Wait about 4 hours before logging in.
Continuing students log in with their existing credentials.
New, Promise, and Transfer Students: must complete orientation, English/Math placement*, and a first-semester plan with a counselor to qualify for priority registration.
Returning and Continuing Students: must complete orientation, placement, and have a student plan on file.
Priority Groups 1–5 must meet all orientation, placement, and plan requirements, maintain good standing, and avoid academic/progress probation for two consecutive terms (Board Policy 5055).
If prerequisites were completed at another college, submit official transcripts to the Admissions Office before registration.

How to check your registration date
- Log in to myHancock
- Navigate to Class Registration & Schedule → Register/Add/Drop Classes
- Select My Registration Date
- Choose the correct semester and click Submit

Continuing students may lose priority if placed on academic or progress probation for two consecutive terms or if they have completed more than 100 units (not including ESL or basic skills courses).
Priority Groups 1–5 must remain in good standing and complete orientation, placement, and a student plan (Board Policy 5055).
