Fall 2024: The Basic Needs Center has closed for Fall 2024 semester due to the end of term and in order to process remaining requests.

The Basic Needs Center at Allan Hancock College is a centralized hub to support your academic success by connecting students with on-campus and community resources related to food, housing, health, technology access, childcare, and other resources.
Are you a student facing an unforeseen event or emergency? Or are you a Staff or Faculty working with a student in crisis? Students must be enrolled in fall to utilize Basic Needs Center services.
For support with the CalFresh application, school supplies, food gift cards, shelter resources, clothing, or hygiene, visit Building G-101, call (805) 922-6966 ext. 3927, or email basicneeds@hancockcollege.edu. Staff is available to meet with students in Santa Maria and at Lompoc Valley Campus.
The Basic Needs Application has closed for Fall 2024.
The Application for winter session will open December 16th, 2024.
For Spring 2025, the application will reopen January 6th, 2025.
Note: The Basic Needs Center does not assist with tuition fees.
