ID Cards

ID Numbers

ID Numbers also known as Student/Employee ID Numbers or H-Numbers are assigned to each student and employee. You can find your ID number on your ID card or by logging into myHancock and visiting DegreeWorks, your Unofficial Transcript, or by finding the number displayed in the top right corner of the portal (bottom on a mobile device).

STUDENT ID Cards

All enrolled students are eligible to receive an Allan Hancock College Student ID card. Your student ID grants you access to essential campus resources, including library checkouts, computer labs, athletic events, and student discounts.
 
You can obtain your student ID through one of two convenient methods:

Get Your Digital ID instantly via the myHancock App

The fastest and most convenient way to carry your student ID is right on your smartphone.
  1. Download the myHancock app from the [Apple App Store] or [Google Play Store].
  2. Log in using your standard student portal credentials.
  3. Access your digital ID directly within the app dashboard to use across campus

Obtain a Physical ID Card

If you prefer a traditional plastic ID card, you can have one printed in person at the Santa Maria campus or the Lompoc Valley Center.
  1. Visit an Admissions & Records office during regular business hours.
  2. Provide your Student ID number (H-number) to the staff to complete the process.

STAFF ID Cards

AHC provides free photo IDs for all employees.  Employees should be prepared to provide their AHC issued identification number (H number) and employment verification from Human Resources when requesting an ID.

All ID cards are available during normal business at the following locations:

  • Lompoc Valley Center Student Services, Building 1
  • Santa Maria Campus Admissions and Records, Building A
  • Santa Maria Campus Community Education, Building S
  • Santa Ynez Valley Center Office
