How to Register for WEE
WEE allows you to earn college credit for the hours you work. If you plan to register for Spring 2026, review the start dates below:
Spring 2026
17-Week Semester – January 20 to May 20, 2026

WEE INTEREST FORM
To participate in Work Experience Education (WEE), complete the steps below:
Secure a Job/Internship
Students must secure a job or internship independently or with help from the Career Center, WEE staff, instructors, or personal contacts. Visit the internship resources tab on the WEE website for opportunities.
To search for jobs or internships, activate your Jobspeaker account through your Hancock portal. See the Career Center link below for instructions.
Attend Orientation
Attend the mandatory orientation in person at the Career Center (Building A, Room 207). If you are unable to attend, contact the WEE Specialist to make arrangements.
Orientation Dates – Spring 2026
17-Week Semester:
- Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 12 p.m. or 5 p.m.
- Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 12 p.m. or 5 p.m.
- Or by appointment

Add WEE to Your Class Schedule
Enroll in either WEE 302 or WEE 149 (or another discipline-specific WEE course). Information will be used to match you with the appropriate faculty.
WEE 302 – for students not working in their major field.
WEE 149 – for students working in their major field.

Students are responsible for completing all steps before registration.
Complete Paperwork
Submit the following forms to your WEE Instructor. For questions or appointments, contact maria.ramirezgaribay@hancockcollege.edu.

- Timesheet
- Employer Evaluation
- Student Evaluation of Employer
- Student Self-Evaluation
- Student Report (see page 16 of the Student Handbook for instructions)
IMPORTANT: Missing deadlines or requirements may result in being dropped. Students must withdraw if they choose not to participate. Incomplete work will result in an “F”.
