Welcome to CARE
The Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE) program is a state funded program for single parents attending Allan Hancock College. The CARE program works in conjunction with EOPS to provide support services to students who receive CalWORKs (state cash aid) benefits in the household. In addition, Allan Hancock College is home to the first and only CARE center established in the State of California. At the CARE Center students are welcome to come in for tutoring sessions, utilize our computers and print for free, see their academic counselor, and they can bring their children to play in our children’s nook. The CARE Center is a child friendly environment where all CARE students are welcome and have a place to call home at Allan Hancock College.
