Law Enforcement Field Internship Program
A 17-week or 13-week course. This Career Work Experience (WEE) course allows for students already in the profession to earn college credit towards their A.S. Degree in Criminal Justice. Students will enroll in their chosen length course and attend their normal work schedule. Students must work at least 225 hours over the semester to earn 3 units. This is a “Paid” Internship as the student is already employed with a law enforcement agency. There is also a mandatory orientation at the Public Safety Training Complex, or, with the permission of the coordinator, you may schedule your orientation online.
Credit is given through the Career Work Experience program. Visit the WEE site for more information.
