Women's Fire Camp (WFC)

The Allan Hancock College Fire Technology invites women between the ages of 15-23 to attend Women's Fire Camp. This is a rewarding, one-day opportunity to be exposed to the fire service industry. The camp aims to develop confidence and character through exciting team building exercises and hands-on training. Participants will experience the following:
- Fire Service-Based Fitness
- Ground Ladders and Aerials
- Hose Handling
- Search and Rescue
- Forcible Entry and Tools
- Rope Rescue
Attire: Camp participants will need to wear sweatpants, athletic shoes, T-shirt (camp T-shirt provided at check-in), hair pulled back or in a bun.
Logistics: Water, snacks, and lunch will be provided.
Job Fair: Camp will conclude with a job fair sponsored by local area fire departments.
