Commercial Dance Advisory Committee

“The Advisory Committee supports the Commercial Dance program’s mission to prepare students for employment in the commercial dance field and further education by providing experiences that emphasize intellectual and technical excellence, creativity, personal and interpersonal skills, professionalism, and cultural competence. It provides a mechanism to (1) improve communication; (2) solicit the confidence of the public; (3) obtain valuable input on the programs and services available to students with disabilities; and (4) include the students’ voice in the process of maintaining a strong disability support program.”Authority cited: Sections 67312, 70901 and 84850, Education Code.
